TAG's COTS-based Custom Configurations Meet Stringent Military Environmental Standard

Dulles, Virginia

TAG has been selected to provide an additional 126 tactical servers to the Air Force’s Electronic Systems Center’s (ESC) Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) program, bringing the total to 696 units. TAG’s 2000 Series servers will support the TDC’s Network Control Center-Deployed (NCC-D) program, which provides the communications infrastructure for units deployed worldwide.

TAG’s systems are built on COTS technology, which accelerates time to delivery, provides fast upgrade capability, and enables easier maintenance. These 2000 Series servers are specifically engineered to meet the Air Force’s environmental standards for temperature, dust, moisture, shock/vibration, and pressure changes encountered on aircraft. In addition, TAG’s Sidewinder™ certified firewall servers provide the Information Assurance and Security required for battlefield applications.

“TAG’s tactical systems are manufactured specifically to withstand the rigors of aggressive transportation and forward deployment. Ruggedized equipment ensures operability even in the most severe environmental situations,” says John McEwan, TAG president & CEO.

TAG’s Advanced Concepts Division continually designs the latest IT solutions to meet evolving technology and military requirements.
